The examination boards offer different post-results services in case you’re not satisfied with your grade. Each service has its cost so please refer to your school/center for fees and deadlines of each service.

I would like to clarify some terms that will help you understand the services offered by each examination board:

• Recheck: Recalculating
• Review of mark: Marking the student’s paper again
• Script: Your exam paper

Post-results services offered by Cambridge:

• Clerical Recheck
• Clerical Recheck with a copy of the script
• Review of marking and clerical re-check
• Review of marking and clerical re-check with a copy of the script
• Re-moderation of the school’s coursework marks for a component, together with a report on the assessment of the coursework of the student

Post-results services offered by Pearson Edexcel:

• Clerical Check
• Review of Marking
• Access to Script-Copy
• Access to Script-post review of marking photocopy script

Post-results services offered by Oxford AQA:

• Clerical Check
• Review of Marking
• Copy of script after reviewed or clerically checked script
• Access to scripts without clerical check or review of marking
