Documents needed to apply:

  • Official transcript of the high school certificate.
  • Recent IELTS or TOEFL scores.
  • Photocopy of National ID card or Passport.
  • Official transcript of the high school certificate.
  • A proof of 12 years of schooling for American Diploma, Canadian Diploma and IGCSE applicants (11 years are accepted for IGCSE students)
  • 4 passport sized photographs.
  • Evidence of military status (For males only).

Application Process:

  1. Create an account on the website and make sure you use a valid email
  2. Fill out your application
  3. Pay the application fees online(1000EGP) before or after your final submission of the application
  4. Once your application is approved, you’ll receive provisional acceptance and you’ll need to make your down payment in order to secure your place. Instructions will be sent over the email
  5. Make sure all the required original document are submitted to the original office before the deadline
  6. Once the application is complete & all the documents are submitted, it will be reviewed for final acceptance. Accepted students will receive a final acceptance email from The University of Hertfordshire
  7. You will need to make the rest of the payment for the 1st semester.Instructions will be sent over the email
  8. You’re now a UH Student
         

Admission Requirements-Foundation Year:

Acceptance will be offered to the highest IG averages depending on the availability of spaces in each major.

Any applicant with 5 O levels IGCSE subjects, or with a high school diploma that is dated more than 2 years at the time of admission, will only be admitted to Business, Mass Communication or Creative Arts.

Non-academic fees: EGP 15,000 EGP/ 400 GBP to be applied from IFP onward

Terms and Conditions

Tuition fees’ categories are based on academic performance.

Tuition fees can be paid over two installments.

Tuitions fees are subject to an annual increase of up to 15%.

Non-academic fees and lab fees are subject to annual review.

Fees for module retake are calculated based on multiplying the number of credits of by the charge of credit per hour.

Students who are admitted to the university and awarded a merit scholarship shall maintain the same category of tuition fees upon completing 120 credits and achieve a minimum GPA of 4.0/5 at the end of the respective academic year.

Deadline for paying tuition fees for returning students

For returning students paying semester A, the deadline to pay the first installment is the 31st of August and 31st of December for the second installment.

Paying after the above mentioned deadlines will incur a 5% penalty on the remaining unsettled fees. 

For returning students paying semester B, the deadline to pay the first installment is the 31st of December and 31st of March for the second installment.

In case of any unsettled fees, all enrollment certificates and requested documents by students will be put on hold until all payments are settled.

After 3 weeks from the payment deadline, if the fees are still unsettled, further actions will be taken.

Mpharm (Pharmacy):  Standard Fee: Overall grades from A to C. Category C: Minimum 88% in the overall score of 8 subjects. Category B: Minimum 92% in the overall score of 8 subjects. Category A: Minimum 96% in the overall score of 8 subjects.

Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physiotherapy, Mechanical Engineering , Civil Engineering, :  Overall grades from A to C. Category C: Minimum 85% in the overall score of 8 subjects. Category B: Minimum 90% in the overall score of 8 subjects. Category A: Minimum 95% in the overall score of 8 subjects.

Computer Science. Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication & Creative Arts: Overall grades from A to C. Category C: Minimum 75% in the overall score of 8 subjects. Category B: Minimum 80% in the overall score of 8 subjects. Category A: Minimum 85% in the overall score of 8 subjects.
