Foundation: 5.5 with no band less than 5.0 (UKVI, or Academic)
Year One: IELTS Certificate with an overall score of 6.0 and no less than 5.5 in each band (Academic, or UKVI)
*Your IELTS report is valid for two years only. The report you submit for admission must be valid up to the beginning of the academic year.
Students who studied English as a First language and scored C or above do not need to do IELTS
Note: Students applying to Design and Media programmes are required to submit a portfolio as per the guidelines set by Coventry University ( guidelines )

Applicants of all courses must submit 5 OL subjects plus 1 AS subject, or 8 OL subjects with a minimum grade of C
For Engineering and Computing:
5 OL subjects must include Math, English or English Literature and a Science subject plus 1 AS subject in one of the Science subjects or Math
For Design and Media:
5 OL subjects must include Math, English or English Literature and any AS subject
For Business Applicants:
- 5 OL subjects must include English Language, or English Literature and any AS subject, or 8 OL subjects which include English Language, or English Literature
For Psychology Applicants:
- 5 OL subjects must include Math, English, and a Science subject and any AS subject, or 8 OL subjects which include, Math, English, and a Science subject

2022/23 Academic Year Tuition Fees Terms:

- For Egyptian students’ tuition fees will be calculated according to GBP average “selling” rate announced by Central Bank of Egypt over a specific period with minimum exchange rate of 1 GBP = 21 EGP to be applied on tuition fees
- A maximum of 10% increase in tuition fees will be applied annually
- Tuition fees to be paid in two installments annually (1st installment for immediate payment upon receiving the final acceptance and 2nd installment by the end of the first semester
- Non-academic fees of EGP 11,000 to be paid annually with the 1st Installment of tuition fees
- Lab fees of EGP 10,000 to be paid annually (starting from Year 1)
- Facility insurance of EGP 5,000 deposit is refundable at the end of academic studies if no damage occurs
- Student Medical Insurance of EGP 1,500 to be paid annually

Admissions Steps:
If you are applying for Coventry University only, please ensure that you have electronic copies of the following documents:
- High School Transcript up to Grade 12’s 1st Semester, or Grade 12’s Report Card, or Grade 12’s Enrollment letter.
- IGCSE applicants may submit an Enrollment Letter for the current academic year, or all IGCSE slips on hand.
- If you have taken your IELTS (Academic, or UKVI), or TOEFL iBT test, please upload the certificate on hand.
- Egyptian Applicants are required to submit a National ID, or a computerized Birth Certificate.
