IELTS Score of

Foundation: 5.5 with no band less than 5.0 (UKVI, or Academic)

Year One: IELTS Certificate with an overall score of 6.0 and no less than 5.5 in each band (Academic, or UKVI)

*Your IELTS report is valid for two years only. The report you submit for admission must be valid up to the beginning of the academic year.

Students who studied English as a First language and scored C or above do not need to do IELTS

Note: Students applying to Design and Media programmes are required to submit a portfolio as per the guidelines set by Coventry University ( guidelines )

Foundation Year Entry Criteria

Applicants of all courses must submit 5 OL subjects plus 1 AS subject, or 8 OL subjects with a minimum grade of C

For Engineering and Computing:

5 OL subjects must include Math, English or English Literature and a Science subject plus 1 AS subject in one of the Science subjects or Math

For Design and Media:

5 OL subjects must include Math, English or English Literature and any AS subject

For Business Applicants:

• 5 OL subjects must include English Language, or English Literature and any AS subject, or 8 OL subjects which include English Language, or English Literature

For Psychology Applicants:

• 5 OL subjects must include Math, English, and a Science subject and any AS subject, or 8 OL subjects which include, Math, English, and a Science subject

Year 1 Entry Criteria

Applicants applying for all courses are required to take 5 OLs with a minimum grade of C, plus 3 ALs ABB-BBB

a)Academic Requirements:

For Engineering and Computing:

5 OL  subjects must include  Math, Physics, and Chemistry,
plus 2 AS subjects (Math is mandatory and Physics,
or Chemistry). Minimum grade of a C.

All applicants must have completed and passed two years of Math and (Physics, or Chemistry) in the last three years of Secondary Education and have obtained a minimum grade of a C in each subject above within these two years.

For All Programs:

5 OL subjects must include Math and 1 AS Math subject,  which include Math. Minimum grade of a C.
